  • Lites-Out Show August 31st

    It’s Labor Day Weekend and Lites-Out is going to celebrate this Sunday with the stars of Jazz At The Beach, Brian Simpson, Marc Antoine, Steve Oliver and Eric Darius will all be featured.   There was so many great new releases that came in as August closed out and we will take a listen to the freshest new sounds from Tennis, U-Nam, Christian Gregory, Greg Chambers, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Kat Edmonson, The Young Presidents with Ivan Neville and more. We will also spotlight some of the amazing talent Art Good has coming to the Catalina Jazz Trax Festival in October. The party is on Sunday evening at 7.

    The stars are out in August and we have a lot of Birthdays to celebrate including “Lites-Out Jazz At The Beach” featured artist Steve Oliver and some of his new “Best Of So Far” will kick things off for us this Sunday. You can also sign up to win tickets and the V.I.P. package on the contest page to join us on September 14th at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheater.  We just got the new Marc Broussard “A Life Worth Living” which we will sample and you can see him live at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps for the “Green Flash Concert” August 20th.  Euge Groove teamed up with Elliot Yamin on his new “Got 2 Be Groovin” and we will hear how that came out and I can’t wait to turn you on to French Canadian songstress Genevieve Bellemare.  It’s all coming your way this Sunday evening from 7 – 9, the best and latest in contemporary jazz, soul and fusion, Lites-Out San Diego!!!

    This Sunday we kick things off with a brand new track from “Lites-Out Jazz at the Beach” star Eric Darius and you could win tickets to join us at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheater  Sunday September 14th.  There will also be a spotlight on the harp of Mariea Antoinette, Kiki Ebsen’s Scare Crow Sessions and the team of Al Jarreau & Layla Hathaway.  You will be turned on to Hudson Mohawke and Dawn Golden plus so much more.  It’s all this Sunday Evening from 7 - 9, Lites-Out San Diego.
