    The Holiday countdown is on, Hanukkah starts Tuesday, Dave Koz and Bob Parr will put us in the mood with “8 Candles” and some thing from the Hanukkah Lounge.  We will get pumped up for the Peter White Christmas Show with a seasonal sampling from Peter and his helpers Rick Braun and Mindi Abair and we will double up on Mindi as we celebrate her Grammy nomination along with the rest of the artists in the Contemporary Instrumental Category.  Join me Kelly Cole Sunday evening at 7 for 2 hours of the best and freshest in Contemporary Jazz, Soul and Fusion, it’s Lites-Out San Diego.

    This Sunday we have the perfect set up for Thanksgiving week and the Holiday madness as we kick off Lites-Out with the amazing new collaboration of John Scofield and Medeski, Martin and Wood.  We debut a new track from Aquilo and the John Butler Trio and you can check out Johns video below.   There will be a sprinkling of Holiday cheer from Dave Koz and Friends, Tracey Thorn, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and the new “Christmas Prayer” of San Diego’s own Patrick Yandall.  There are lot’s of Birthdays to celebrate and wait until you hear Van Morrison play the sax.  It’s all coming your way Sunday evening at 7.

  • Lites-Out August 10th

    The stars are out in August and we have a lot of Birthdays to celebrate including “Lites-Out Jazz At The Beach” featured artist Steve Oliver and some of his new “Best Of So Far” will kick things off for us this Sunday. You can also sign up to win tickets and the V.I.P. package on the contest page to join us on September 14th at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheater.  We just got the new Marc Broussard “A Life Worth Living” which we will sample and you can see him live at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps for the “Green Flash Concert” August 20th.  Euge Groove teamed up with Elliot Yamin on his new “Got 2 Be Groovin” and we will hear how that came out and I can’t wait to turn you on to French Canadian songstress Genevieve Bellemare.  It’s all coming your way this Sunday evening from 7 – 9, the best and latest in contemporary jazz, soul and fusion, Lites-Out San Diego!!!
